ESPN has found its replacement for Ryan Clark for the NFL season.
Another former NFL star will be moved up to Monday Night Football for 2026.
Jason McCourty joined ESPN in 2024 and has now earned a major promotion to replace Clark.
McCourty was formerly a member of Good Morning Football on NFL Network but left when the show moved to the West Coast.
His GMF colleague Peter Schrager joined ESPN at the same time.
McCourty has featured on Get Up, First Take, SportsCenter, and NFL Live.
Now, he will permanently feature on Monday Night Countdown in Clark’s place.
McCourty will star alongside Jason Kelce, Marcus Spears, and Scott Van Pelt on the show.
Monday Night Countdown will debut this season on September 14 for the matchup between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs.
McCourty was a 13-year veteran in the NFL playing for the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins.
He is a New Jersey Native and went to high school and college with his twin brother Devin McCourty, who also made it to the NFL.
Jason McCourty won the Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2019.
